“Inherited Inferno” is a compelling 3D virtual art world that unveils a stark narrative while embodying the urgent call of key United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – SDG 13 (Climate Action), SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), and SDG 4 (Quality Education). At the center, a blazing Earth rests not in the hands of the mythical Titan, Atlas, but precariously on the frail shoulders of two children, emblematic of the disproportionate burden that has been placed upon the younger generation.
Recently, Christi spoke at the Digital Health Institute for Transformation’s (DHIT) event, sponsored by Innovate Carolina, to discuss the implications of Extended Reality (XR) in healthcare.

It was only a couple of weeks before thousands would gather to co-create the physical Black Rock City when we got the call: “So… we have a new project and we need a hand… can you make it to Burning Man this year?” Oh boy…
Christi joined Gabe Barker (Virbela) and Doug Jacobson (Big Rock Creative) for this panel moderated by Celeste Lear to discuss Building Branded Digital Twin Experiences, as part of the WebXR Brand Summit!
After participating in Briar Prestidge’s “48 Hours in the Metaverse” documentary challenge, where we took her on a tour of our various worlds in VR, Briar invited us to chat with her on her new podcast series, Hyperscale!
For AWE 2022, we got on the main stage for the MetaTr@versal: A Day in the Life play! Additionally, Christi joined a panel to talk about immersive storytelling. We also joined a group of educators to tour the Stanford Virtual Human Interaction Lab, and the Santa Clara University Imaginarium. Then, we had a big AWE Afterparty with tech demos at our MetaVilla Airbnb.
We worked with author Helen Lundström Erwin to build out the café depicted in her historic novel, Sour Milk in Sheep’s Wool. Throughout the build process, we sent pictures back and forth with Helen and met up with her in VR to review details. She wanted to accurately capture the historical details – and so did we!
